The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, and the train station was just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of sightseeing. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the dated decor and small bathrooms, our overall experience was positive. We would recommend this charming B&B for a unique Irish getaway. Stayed at Castle Lodge B&B for 3 nights while exploring Malahide. Ideal location near Malahide Castle and town center. Spacious, quiet room with a nice bathroom and plenty of towels. The breakfast was the best we had in Ireland. The hosts, Jerry and Eithne, were friendly and entertaining, even serenading us while cooking. Loved chatting with Jerry about the Civil War and Gettysburg. Convenient to shops, restaurants, beach, and attractions. Definitely recommend this hotel.
